Who we are

Medusa AI ("we") operates WhatsApp automation systems for local businesses: instant replies to inquiries, qualifying questions, reminders and follow-ups. We are based in Nahariya, Israel.

What data we process

• WhatsApp inquiries: when a person messages a business that uses our system, we process their WhatsApp profile name, phone number, message content and answers to qualifying questions.
• Business customers: business name, contact person, phone and email, to provide and bill the service.
• Website visitors: the website uses no tracking cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider may keep technical access logs (such as IP address) for security.

How we use it

To reply to inquiries on the business's behalf, ask qualifying questions and schedule calls or appointments; to send the business owner a summary of the inquiry; to send a reminder or follow-up to the person who contacted the business; and to operate, secure and improve the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We use providers that process data only on our behalf: Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), hosting and server providers, a database provider, and AI providers used to summarize inquiries. For inquiries sent to a business that uses our service, that business decides how the data is used, and we process it on its behalf.

Retention

Inquiry data is kept while the business uses the service or until a deletion request is received. When a business ends the service, its data is deleted within 90 days unless the law requires otherwise.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards: encryption in transit, least-privilege access and secure storage of access credentials.

Your rights and data deletion

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.

How to request deletion: contact us on WhatsApp or by email (below) with the phone number you used. We will confirm receipt and delete your data within 30 days. You can ask to stop receiving messages at any time, in the chat itself or by contacting us, and we will stop.
